Luna lunacy

Fellow Victorians. If you're feeling guilty free-loading off your reciprocal memberships to Sydney attractions then Luna park will help you out. Pricey yet classy, this attraction will help you contribute to the good cause of stimulating the New South Wales economy...and it will do it with a smile.

We had promised Tor a visit to his first fun-fair all week. First the weather was lousy, then mummy mis-read the opening hours and so when we finally did walk between the pearly whites on Friday there was little patience for a commemorative photo. Instead it was 'ride ride ride'...for 5 hours. I had thought that perhaps there'd be little for a toddler to do. Boy was I wrong. There were plenty of rides to enjoy...not that that mattered mind...the 'car ride' was promptly declared the superior experience and it took some convincing and 30 rides on it to try the others.

Next favourite - the spaceship. It got 3 goes. Then Tor agreed to tolerate a turn or two on the tea-cup ride to satisfy mummy's disney nostalgia.

Rides aside the park is remarkably well kept and successfully delivers on the 'yester-year' theme park look without appearing tatty. If mum ever recovers her patience...and perhaps when someone is too tall for the car ride :-) we may return.
